おもちゃ×最先端素材（カーボン）の融合、デカールを楽しめるまるでフィギュアのようなダルマ。オリジナルタイプの塗装は自動車やヘルメットなどと同様のウレタン塗装がされています。 カーボンは色が黒であることから、地が黒色になります。 胸に大きく『福』の文字をあしらいました。カーボンの黒にちなんだ、『黒』から『黒字』へという言葉遊びを込めたデザインです。 付録としてダルマの表情を表現するデカールセット同梱。

The fusion of leading edge carbon with toys. Enjoy using decals on the Daruma figure dolls! The surface of the original plain type of Daruma doll is made with urethane paint, similar to that used in automobiles and helmets. The doll is black in colour due to its main source material being carbon. The kanji "Fuku" (福) is printed large on the chest — a design that plays on the words "black" (the natural colour of carbon) and "in the black." The doll's facial expression can be changed to your liking with the decal kit included.

サイズは大中小の３種類

Daruma dolls are available in three sizes: small, medium and large. The design incorporates classic motifs of traditional Japanese decorative art: the eyebrows are inspired by cranes and the cheek whiskers by turtles — both long-standing symbols of longevity in Japanese art — while the beard, the rings around the eyes and the nostrils reference pine, bamboo and plum. The gold and red eye colours follow the traditional colour conventions of Daruma dolls.

身体はＣＦＲＰ炭素繊維強化プラスチックで出来ており、大ダルマ ：12K平織り､ 中ダルマ ： 6K平織り､小ダルマ ： 3K平織りで、共に2PLY。 板厚は 小 ： 0.5ｍｍ、中 ： 0.7ｍｍ、大 :1.0ｍｍとなる。　 使用樹脂はエポキシを使用。 成形方法は航空機や自動車部品にも用いられる方法を採用し、 大ダルマ がＶａ－ＲＴＭ、中ダルマ・小ダルマはRTM工法で成形。 １枚１枚カーボンクロスを型に手張りし真空で１４０℃熱硬化させるため、作るのに大変時間がかかります。 そのため、小１０個/月　中５個/月　大２個/月　の限定製作となります。

The body of the doll is made of Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP). Small Daruma: 3K plain weave , 2 ply Medium Daruma: 6K plain weave, 2 ply Large size: 12K plain weave, 2 ply Material thickness: Small: 0.5mm Medium: 0.7mm Large: 1.0mm Resins used: epoxy The methods used to sculpt the dolls are similar to those used in manufacturing air craft and automobile parts. Small & Medium Darumas: RTM process (resin transfer moulding) Large Daruma: Va-RTM process (vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding) These methods are very time consuming as they require hand-forming the carbon into the moulds and hardening them with a vacuum at a temperature of 140 degrees celsius. For this reason production of these items is limited to 10 small items per month, 5 medium items per month and 2 large items per month.
